More info

An energy recovery ventilator (ERV) is a device connected to HVAC systems to take the already conditioned exhausted air and use it to precondition the incoming outdoor air. This allows an HVAC system to reuse some of the energy that was already spent to heat and cool building air.

This plastic resin ERV is based on a rooftop prototype that is meant for small commercial applications with an airflow range of 240-500 CFM.

Since energy recovery ventilation is a more recent technology, this ERV is best suited for layouts modeling from the mid 1990's to the present.

This piece may be added to your buildings using model glue or plastic cement. Sanding and cutting also required. Painting and weathering strongly recommended.
